About Me

Passionate about fuelling my body with the best food, mental and physical strength, hydration, laughing and everything Mediterranean. 

I am a certified health coach professional from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. This was one of the most powerful and informative courses I have ever taken. IIN taught me that living a healthy life goes far beyond food and exercise. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Something you actively need to work towards every single day. Health is not delivered by taking a pill or spending one day in the gym. It is a lifestyle. It comes with dedication and consistency. It comes when you take time to care about yourself; your body and your mind. It comes when you prioritize your well being. 

The goal is not to look a certain way but to be able to make it to our 90’s filled with energy and having the ability to do whatever we want to do. Ride a bike, go for a hike, bend over and tie our shoes. 

We are what we eat, our body regenerates based on the nutrients that we put in it. Our body also hears all of our thoughts and how we talk to it.  Which is why it is so important to prioritize the well being of our physical, mental and social self. 

Starting your health and wellness journey can be daunting. There is so much information about health and wellness. What is most difficult is that a lot of the topics and research pertaining to health and wellness are controversial. They are controversial because there is not a, “one size fits all”, fix for every person. Your body will react uniquely and differently to everything and you have to spend the time to figure out what works for your body. 

Throughout my wellness journey I’ve noticed a few things that are, however, consistent across the board. Based on my findings I’ve put together simple life hacks that I absolutely live by and I do not deviate from and they have completely changed my life. One, eat real food. Two, treat sugar like a recreational drug. Three, move your body every single day. Four, hydrate. All of the above seem relatively simple, and they are. The key, (number five), is being consistent. If you are not consistent you will never experience any kind of change.

Health and wellness is not a destination, it is a journey. A journey that you can START at any moment in your life. 

It’s a lifestyle thing.
